Little doubts on the fairies
If you go down to the woods today, you’re sure of a supernatural surprise.
Tinkerbell and her pals have seemingly made an historic Lancashire village one of their favourite haunts.
Fairies and ghostly spirits have been spotted in church grounds and woodlands in picturesque Croston, and not just once or twice.
The Supernatural Angel Report, produced by paranormal activity experts, shows that 44 cases have been reported of people sighting fairies with Croston being identified as one of the hotspots.
That’s no surprise to Harry Horsley, 67, who has lived in the old mill village for 30 years in a house which backs on to St Michael’s 900-year-old church yard.
He said: “I get up at 5am to let my chickens out, and when the moon’s out, I can see little glinting, sparkly things.
“I thought it was a trick of the light at first, but I see them most mornings now.
