Why did the Fish cross the road?

By the looks of things in the video above, the fish were crossing the road to get away from Honey, the persistent and talented angling dog. She was taking advantage of the flooding waters of the Skokomish River in Washington State. She did a remarkable job of bringing home a fish supper, and appeared swaggeringly proud of her catch of the day. (I feel kind of sorry for the fish in this part of the “river.” It’s a bit unsettling seeing them race across the road like that in pursuit of more normal territory.)
