International Day for Street Children - Show Your Support Today
With an estimated 100 million street children around the world, a new campaign
to establish an annual International Day for Street Children is being
launched by the Consortium for Street Children, supported by international
insurance group Aviva. Show your support today
Deepchand is just 14 and lives on the streets in Delhi. Gill Martin spent a
day with him and also met children on the streets in Glasgow to find out why
there’s such a need for The International Day for Street Children.

Aviva Street to School is the insurance group’s international charity
partnership programme that aims to help 500,000 street children back into
education and training by 2015.
The first International Day for Street Children was launched by the Consortium
for Street Children.
